Well, you may wonder! What is PODS Care?
Everyone knows that a budding flower is called pods.
Since long I wanted to do something within my limits for the Poor, Orphans, Disabled and Sick children in and around my place in India. Well, you will now understand how the name PODS was formed.
Now, how shall we go about executing the good work.
My faith in Him is strong, He will surely guide us to accomplish the job.
I want to do something worthwhile for these pods, budding flowers. I like to see them blossom.
I have a unique idea that can work wonders. What is it? Is it that what will make you feel............
Ah! these guy is up to something fishy. Let me make it clear from the start, we are here to see
that the PODS get what they are made for, a good life; and we are here to make their dreams come true.
If the Lord God has guided me and you in the following manner, let it be so. I am not going to ask you to donate me or my organization. I will not accept any kind of donation. I don't need it. Maybe you never heard this before from anyone. So what are we suppose to do? How will PODS Care work?
Please follow the instructions carefully and do exactly as specified here.
Every well-to-do family has minimum one earning member, if your family has more than one, say two or three or more, then all you got to do is when each of the family member receives his or her salary, the head of the family separates 10% of the amount and keeps it in a separate bank account. This has to be done each month, without fail. Now, you have to look out for a poor, orphan, disabled and sick child in and around your place. I know you will find one or maybe more. You may sponsor to one child at a time, according to your financial strength.
Shall we start helping from the first month of our collection, no! not possible for everyone, you may collect a substantial amount and then give a go. Look at the situation of the child, what's the specific need of the child? What would you like to do for the child? Sponsor for his/her food, clothes, studies (include - school fees, uniform, stationary or recreation). Whether you would like to sponsor for a year or two or till the child gets on his/her feet, I mean till they start earning. There are numerous organizations helping the poor and needy, all you can do is just give the cash and forget it. Why take so much of pain and hassles? Just remember what Jesus did, HE fed the multitudes, HE cleaned the feet of HIS disciples, why can't we imitate HIM a little bit. Feed one child, it's more than enough, take care of the sick child, clean his/her wounds. This will give you a kind of peaceful feeling that will bring joy and happiness you have never before felt.
I have decided to do the same, and so this long awaited idea has found it's foundation in PODS Care. My son and daughter will be out of College soon with a job and I want them to start with their first salary to follow the will of God. I know they will, willing follow His instructions, through me.
I wish you too will do the same.
Is that all? How will PODS Care function? How will it benefit? What's the use of just giving ideas and nothing happens? How will everyone know what's going on in PODS Care? Well, that where we all come in picture. This is the only page that I have at present and I want us to fill up the rest of the pages with your support, HOW?
Everyone nowadays has a mobile with a camera, maybe still or video. All you have to do is get some good photos of the child that you are helping and if possible some short videos. Also send in your family photograph with the details as to how and what type of help you have given to the child and for how long you wish to help the child. The above details will be uploaded on PODS Care pages. WHY?
If you are a Christian then you will know what Jesus taught, "Let not the left hand know what the right hand has done." specially when you give alms or help the needy. I don't say what HE said was wrong but if you don't let people know what good work we are doing, then how will they join us in this good work. I hope I am clear. We need to show the people how PODS Care works and how many people have started with the good work and how many children have started benefiting from PODS Care. I am sure Jesus will say, "Theo, you made a good decision." NOW WHAT?
